Shakti Hannie is author of Colours of a Cultural Chameleon. She grew up in India & the Netherlands. She doesn't consider herself to be a true TCK, but instead a CCK or a cultural chameleon as she herself puts it. As a CCK Shakti had the urge to discover the world. As an adult she lived in the Netherlands, UK and the USA, and she briefly lived in Peru too which instantly felt like home. Over the years she noticed she'd call any place home as long as she was able to connect with like minded people; people who are open to mingling with others and set aside their prejudices. Shakti travelled to far off countries across the globe, including Australia, Vietnam, South Korea, Mongolia, Iceland, Uzbekistan, Nicaragua, Argentina, Spain, Norway, Macedonia. Her experience as a third culture kid, creating her own little communities and homes away from home, has inspired her to share her insights and adventures with those in similar situations. Her website is www.shaktihannie.com.
